Craving a creative outlet, Prairie Sky Designs was formed when Zena expanded on her favourite parts of being a nail tech - the hand-painted designs. "I took an acrylic pour class and fell in love! From there I moved into resin products as well". In 2021, Zena started to focus on growing Prairie Sky Designs to become more than a hobby.
Making a variety of items, the acrylic pour coasters are a stunning must see. She also makes magnets, as well as, resin jewelry. In addition to CountertopArt, Zena's creations can be found at Prairieskydesign.sk on Etsy and Hometown Designs in Unity, SK.
"I am a one women show and proud of how far this business has come. If I’m not creating you can likely find me hanging out with my animals! :) I am a small town girl who likes a slow, laid back lifestyle! That being said, one of my proud moments was my very first trade show last summer. I was nervous and not sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a lot of fun and gave me the desire to attend more and expand my business into stores".
